Build a little shop. Grow a neighborhood.
All quiet. New events will appear here.
Rent and power scale with your build — every fridge and lane draws power, and expansion raises the rent. Wages follow headcount. Spoiled stock becomes a waste fee at close.
Assign each employee a duty with the chips above, or leave them on Auto. Click them in the shop for skills and details.
Set whole-unit stock targets and priorities. Makers claim one physical workshop each; skill and equipment improve speed while recipe output stays predictable. Ingredients are carried in by hand, a station holds one finished batch, and somebody has to carry it away.
Nobody else is trading on your street yet. Success attracts competition — and a busy street attracts shoppers.
Other shopkeepers buy and sell by the same rules you do: the same wholesale prices, the same rent, the same wages, the same customers. A rival selling what you sell takes your trade; one selling something else brings people to the block.
Higher margins make items harder to sell. Find your sweet spot.
Orders land in the backroom. Employees carry them to the shelves while the shop runs.
Click a product for each slot. Customers only browse products placed on a display.
Stock levels remain visible on the shelf labels in the shop.

Restart wipes this empire slot and starts day 1 over. Model artwork is switched from the Artwork control in the corner of the shop view. Each day starts at your configured preparation time (06:30 by default) and opens automatically at 08:00. Use Operations to change standing hours or override today. Schedule staff early enough for receiving, shelving, cleaning and repairs before customers arrive.
Draw connected rooms or paint individual floor tiles. Add walls, doors and windows; mark sales, storage and staff zones. Buy adjacent land to expand. R rotates furniture. Select Move to relocate or store it. Moving owned furniture and changing finishes are free.
Building pauses trade. Undo and Redo let you experiment. Only Apply commits the cost and layout; Discard returns to your shop. Materials from demolition remain yours. Unfinished buildings can be saved closed. The builder explains blocked working sides and entrances.
Choose display products in Stock or by clicking a shelf. Paid shipments arrive by truck 30 game-minutes after preparation starts. Assign receiving staff to move visible staged crates onto reachable racks; restockers then carry them to displays. Dry goods need racks in Storage zones, while chilled and frozen goods need cold racks in Cold Store zones.
Prices are agreed when customers pick up goods. Unpaid baskets return to storage. Oldest stock sells first. Fridges extend perishable shelf life; cleaning only removes dirt. Use markdowns for near-expiry goods and avoid ordering more than you can sell.
A fresh applicant turns up every few trading hours. Set each recurring shift in 30-minute steps; employees arrive outside 15 minutes early, clock in on time and leave afterward. A same-day call-in arrives in 15 minutes and costs 1.5× with a one-hour minimum. Skills grow through real work or $95 training, with exact XP and level-up feedback in Team.
At the configured closing time, arrivals stop while existing shoppers finish. The review separates operating profit from cash spent on stock and construction, and records staff improvements. Rent follows floor area; equipment uses power. Set tomorrow's hours during review or preparation.
Value, quality and convenience shoppers respond to your range, prices and service. Good visits build loyalty and regular customers. House-product trials, community orders and milestones provide new goals. Use the camera arrows, top view and wall cutaway to inspect your shop from every side.
